Software developer with an interest in electronics and acoustics
We are looking for an engineer with a degree in computer science, physics, electronics, mechanics, or acoustics, that is skilled in programming and has an interest in audio and electronics. Your work will be to program DSP and AI solutions in small embedded systems.

Role & responsibility:
You will be part in all from the early phases of product development until product launch and possibly beyond if the design later needs to be modified. You are an engineer by heart and as an engineer you can identify the root cause of a problem by measurements, you can visualize a solution and you can implement that solution.
You will be responsible for developing software solutions on DSPs and MCUs in embedded systems and you are not afraid of working with C/C++ programming on different processors. You know what DSP filters to use for what purpose and feel comfortable discuss system design trade-offs. As a software developer you have of course learned a little about how to make use of AI. Experience with Git and communication protocols is another plus, knowing the meaning of abbreviations such as I2C, UART, BLE, BT, NB-Iot etc. Writing scripts in Python is commonplace for you.

Profile requirements:
You are a newly graduated engineer or have a couple of years experience. You have a master’s in engineering in Computer Science, Physics or Electronics, Mechanics, or Acoustics. Most importantly you have interest in, and experience from software development on DSPs. You have an interest in audio, possibly in hearing aids, in headphones or in hearing protection.
You strive to understand, and you are able or willing to learn how to combine an understanding of signals, independently of it being electronic or acoustics signals, and of the underlying physics concepts. You learn both through simulation and practical use.
